The National Chamber of Bailiffs publishes its 20 proposals on Justice in the 21st century

This contribution was presented in late March at the Ministry of Justice and the magistrates responsible for the synthesis of the proposals for legal professionals. Madame Christiane Taubira, Minister of Justice, has undertaken this broad national debate on Justice in the 21st Century at the Unesco symposium on 10 and 11 January.

During the debate at UNESCO bailiffs reiterated the need for improving access to justice for citizens and the need to strengthen the effectiveness of the tools of Justice. The National Chamber of Bailiffs submitted today to the public debate its priorities, with 20 proposals resulting from the contribution of the profession to the national debate.

The National Chamber of Bailiffs offers:

-To Improve access to justice and information of litigants.
- To strengthen the role of new technologies that can contribute to reconciliation between the Justice and citizens.
- To increase the effectiveness of existing procedures by strengthening the missions entrusted by law to bailiffs.

The new relationship between the judge and court officers, dematerialization, the development of alternative dispute resolution, or diversions are issues that require a joint effort and non-partisan from the legal actors and procedures . This approach, which has prevailed throughout the reflec
tions of the National Chamber of the judicial officers should continue in the next steps of this reforming process.
